TCU Football Welcomes Daniel Yebit from Yukon to Its 2027 Recruiting Class

Daniel Yebit, a standout cornerback from Yukon, Oklahoma, has officially committed to the TCU football program. The four-star athlete, who is currently ranked as the 15th best cornerback in the country by 247Sports, received an offer from the Horned Frogs last month, adding to his impressive tally of 17 scholarship offers.

This season, Yebit played a crucial role in Yukon's success, helping the team achieve a 6-6 record and secure its first playoff victory since 1997. Standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 180 pounds, he recorded 37 tackles, four interceptions, and 43 receptions for 759 yards along with six touchdowns.

In addition to his football prowess, Yebit excels in track and field, where he achieved notable results at the Class 6A state meet. He finished third in the long jump with a jump of 23 feet, 3.25 inches, and cleared 6 feet 6 inches to take fourth in the high jump. His prior accolades include winning the high jump title as a sophomore with a jump of 6 feet 10 inches and being the runner-up in the high jump as a freshman.

Yebit's journey in football began when he received his first offer from Arizona State in May 2025, which marked the start of a summer filled with opportunities from various programs.

As TCU continues to build its 2027 recruiting class, the addition of Yebit represents a significant boost for the Horned Frogs' future defensive lineup.
