Arizona State sports teams continue postseason play
It’s been a productive postseason for the Arizona State athletic teams.
The coming week features men's and women's golf at the NCAA Championships, as well as baseball beginning the NCAA tournament.
Coach Megan Bartlett’s softball program continued its remarkable postseason run with an upset over No. 15 Texas A&M in the Bryan-College Station Regional. ASU became the 13th consecutive Big 12 tournament champion to reach the super regionals.
ASU is facing the defending NCAA champion Texas in the Austin Super Regional, which could extend to Sunday, May 24, if the best-of-three series is tied. Bartlett was an assistant coach at Texas before becoming ASU’s head coach in 2022.
