Austin's Both Gach Joins Prestigious French Basketball Club ASVEL

Austin native Both Gach is making significant strides in his professional basketball career, recently signing with ASVEL, a leading basketball team in France. This club is based in a suburb of Lyon and is renowned for its achievements in the sport.

Gach, who previously played for the Utah Utes and the Minnesota Gophers during his college years, is coming off a remarkable season. He earned the title of EuroCup Forward of the Year, showcasing his skills by averaging 13.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game while leading JL Bourg en Bresse to victory in the EuroCup championship.

Before his time with JL Bourg en Bresse, Gach had a successful stint in Finland, where he was named the 2024 Korisliiga MVP. He also spent a year playing in Turkey, further enhancing his experience before making the move to France.
