Canton, OFA post two NAC golf wins
Canton (7-0) stayed undefeated and OFA lifted its record to 5-4 with two wins in Monday’s NAC golf action.
In a triangular at Gouverneur, OFA (218) gained wins over Gouverneur (254) and Madrid-Waddington (260).
Canton (229) hosted Salmon River and an incomplete Morristown team.
In a dual meet, Malone downed Norwood-Norfolk 215-249.
Quintin Murphy turned in a medalist round of 40 and Blake Morrill and Grady Pharoah both came in at 43 to lead the Blue Devils to a swept at the meet. Rounding out the winning total was Noah O’Neil at 45 and Gavin Moran at 47.
JD Minckler led Gouverneur with a 49 and Lane Ayen tallied at 50.
Boston Murphy led M-W with a 43 and Murphy Burke and Hayden came in at 47 and 49.
Canton’s Dan Richardson turned in a medalist 38 and Dan O’Neill and Jackson Zebedee posted rounds of 43 and 44. Tehotentian Herne led SR with a 44 and Grant Butler’s 49 led Morristown.
The Huskies put together a solid team match led by Tanner Andrews at 39, Rylan Patenaude at 40, Ethan Botto at 44 and Elliott Stone at 45. Riley Russell and John Boyce led N-N at 41 and 46.
