DJ Moore Acknowledges Adjustment Struggles with Buffalo Bills

DJ Moore is still in the process of settling into his new role with the Buffalo Bills following his trade from the Chicago Bears. Although there is ample time for him to adapt, he has openly acknowledged facing some challenges during this transition.

Moore shared his thoughts on the adjustment period, stating, “It’s going good. I mean, it’s gonna be perfect later on, but right now it’s still growing pains,” as reported by the Buffalo News. His positive outlook suggests confidence in overcoming these early hurdles.

Despite being a seasoned player, Moore is expected to step up as the Bills' primary wide receiver, a role that requires him to quickly familiarize himself with the team's offensive strategies. Buffalo made a significant investment to acquire him, giving up a second-round draft pick, reflecting their belief that their receiving corps needed enhancement to support quarterback Josh Allen effectively.

While Khalil Shakir offers reliability in the slot position, the team has experienced underwhelming performances from Keon Coleman and Joshua Palmer on the outside. The Bills also drafted Skyler Bell from UConn, who shows promise, but Moore remains the only player with a proven track record as a number one receiver on the roster.
