The most striking announcement came when Pérez hinted at a groundbreaking transfer deal, one that he claims will surpass any previous signing in the club's history. “I’m going to make an offer to a Champions League club soon, on Tuesday, which will be the biggest payment Real Madrid has ever made for a player, at least 150 million,” he revealed. He clarified that this player is neither Olise nor Doku, nor is it Haaland or Kane, stressing, “It’s not from the Premier League. It’s a total Galáctico.”

This declaration has ignited intense speculation about the player’s identity, with recent rumors linking Real Madrid to Paris Saint-Germain midfielders Vitinha and João Neves. Despite Pérez's assertions, AS has reported the club's interest in Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise.

Additionally, Pérez hinted at further reinforcements, mentioning potential signings including right-back Denzel Dumfries. He expressed excitement about Mourinho’s return, saying, “He’s coming to Madrid next season. I’m excited about it. We know him, and he taught us how to compete.” Pérez credited Mourinho with establishing a competitive environment that paved the way for the club’s success.

Pérez also took the opportunity to defend his legacy, referencing the club’s valuation, which has reportedly reached $10 billion under his guidance. He noted the transformation of Real Madrid since he took office in 2000, highlighting the importance of maintaining its member-owned structure amidst recent electoral challenges. “The demands have always been high. It’s the club with the highest revenue, the most titles… I’ve won 66 titles,” he stated.

With the presidential race heating up, Pérez addressed claims concerning Erling Haaland, calling them “a bluff” and asserting that he called for elections to combat destabilizing forces within the club. He emphasized the need for members to retain ownership, both emotionally and financially, to safeguard the club's future.
