Fun facts about the 2026 Baltimore Ravens-Dallas Cowboys game in Rio

The NFL has played two games in São Paulo, Brazil (2024: Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles; 2025: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers), at Corinthians Arena. The third NFL game staged in Brazil will be this upcoming season, and this time, the Baltimore Ravens will be taking part.

Their opponent will be the Dallas Cowboys, on Sunday, September 27, at the Maracanã Stadium. This will be the first National Football League game ever played in Rio de Janeiro. It airs on CBS and Paramount+ at 4:25 p.m. ET.

This Thursday, at 8 pm EST, the full 18-week, 272-game NFL schedule will be revealed on NFL Network, ESPN2, and Fubo. However, a few higher-profile games, like the international contests and nationally broadcast night games, have already been released. So, as we await the rest of the Ravens' schedule release later this week, let's go over some fun facts for this one.

-Brazil might be better known for soccer/futbol, but the country boasts about 36 million NFL fans, according to the league's website

-The NFL will stage a record nine international games in 2026, staging contests on four different continents (North America, South America, Europe, and Australia) and seven countries (Mexico, Brazil, France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Australia).

-This is the Ravens' third international game of all time, and the first outside of London, UK.

-The Cowboys will serve as the "home team" for this game.
