RAS Score for New Falcons WR Zachariah Branch

The Atlanta Falcons' first pick of the night left something to be desired, at least in the athletic department. Their second pick makes up for it, though.

After taking A.J. Terrell's younger brother Avieon out of Clemson in Round 2, the Falcons followed by picking Georgia wide receiver Zachariah Branch in Round 3, at No. 79 overall.

Despite his poor size, Branch will bring a very strong RAS score to Flowery Branch. He notched an 8.32 RAS Score with elite speed and great explosiveness.

Branch (5-foot-9, 177 pounds) has the classic burner type of profile going for him. After spending two years at USC, he transferred to Georgia for the 2025 season, posting an SEC-best 81 catches to go with 811 yards and six touchdowns. Branch also put in extensive work on special teams as both a punt and kick returner, notching touchdowns as both.

To begin, Branch will be competing with free agent pickup Jahan Dotson for the right to the second-most targets at wide receiver behind star Drake London. We should also expect him to be in the mix as a return specialist, at least as a rookie.
