St. John Paul II Baseball Offense Shines in State Tournament Victory

The St. John Paul II High School baseball team showcased an explosive offensive performance in their Round of 16 matchup, defeating No. 21 Carver with a commanding score of 17-4 in the MIAA state tournament. The fifth-seeded Lions amassed a total of 16 hits, demonstrating their offensive prowess.

On the mound, Henry Roy delivered a strong performance, pitching four innings while giving up just two hits and allowing one earned run. He also struck out seven batters, securing the victory. At the plate, Roy contributed offensively as well, going 2-for-4 with two runs batted in.

Several players stood out with impressive hitting; Brian Mancinelli achieved a remarkable feat with one single, one double, one triple, and two RBIs, while Sam Scioletti tallied three hits including a double and two RBIs. Logan Our and Drew Richards also made their mark, each adding two hits, with Our driving in three runs.
