UH men’s basketball to serve youth summer camps

Fresh off its appearance in the 2026 NCAA Tournament, the University of Hawaii men’s basketball team is set to serve as host to three summer camps for youths.

Boys and girls ages 6 through 17 are invited to apply to the camps on the UH campus. The first camp is June 1-4; the second is June 8-11. The dates for the third camp have not been finalized. The camps run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Sessions will be at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center, Gym I, and Gym II.

Former UH associate head coaches Adam Jacobsen and John Montgomery have re-joined a staff that includes Gibson Johnson, recruiting coordinator and newly promoted associate head coach; assistant coach Clay Wilson; general manager Patty Mills; director of player personnel Juan Munoz, and graduate manager Jake Nishimura.

The $275 registration fee for each camp includes a T-shirt, basketball, daily prizes, and individual and group instruction. “And so many avenues of positivity and fun,” UH head coach Eran Ganot said.

Registration is available at the camp section at . Contact Nishimura at uhmbkb@hawaii.edu for details, questions or concerns.
