Vote for the Enterprise Brockton-area Male Athlete of the Week

East Bridgewater baseball's Brayden Krappe has been named the Enterprise Brockton-area High School Male Athlete of the Week.

In a dominant 21-1 win over Sandwich, Krappe led the charge offensively, scoring 4 RBIs in the victory. He received 5,519 votes and 43.68% of the poll to earn the honor.

Spry notched 7 goals and had 4 assists to lead the Green Wave in a 17-5 win over Whitman-Hanson, and had 5 more goals in a 13-2 win over South Shore Tech.

Derrick O'Neal, Abington baseball

On his first varsity hit, O'Neal also recorded his first RBI which was the game-winner in the top of the eighth inning in a 12-10 win over Carver.

Tripp tallied 5 goals and added 2 assists to power the Trojans to a 14-2 win over Plymouth South.

Cardinal Spellman starting pitcher Jason Cunningham let 2 runs in the first inning against Archbishop Williams, but settled down after that and pitched a steady game, keeping CS in the hunt as they looked to get some runs on Thursday, May 4, 2023.

The Cardinals' pitcher gave up one run on 6 hits and fanned 12 batters to get an 11-1 victory over Brockton.

King scored the winning run and had 4 hits with a 2-run homer in a walk-off win over Apponequet, 8-7. He also added 2 RBIs in a 15-4 win over Rockland.

With 4 RBIs, Ayer led Rockland offensively in a 12-2 victory over Cohasset. He added 2 hits and 2 RBIs with a run in a 12-1 win over Hull.

Jacob Gillis, Southeastern boys lacrosse

Gillis stopped 15 shots to help the Hawks pull out a 7-6 victory over Tri-County in overtime. He also had 12 saves in a 7-4 win over Blue Hills.

Brady Johnson, Whitman-Hanson boys lacrosse

In a 15-9 win over Plymouth South, Johnson made 15 saves to reach 400 for his career as the Panthers' goalie.

Mason Bradley, Whitman-Hanson boys track & field

Bradley took first place in both the 100-meter dash and the high jump and also placed second in the 200-meter in a 99-37 loss to Plymouth North.
