According to a report in the Indian Express, MS Dhoni reportedly did not visit Ahmedabad for CSK's final league game of the season against GT.
Dhoni did not feature in a single game in the IPL 2026 season and it is unlikely that he would feature in the game in Ahmedabad, considering he did not travel to Ahmedabad even on the matchday eve.
He did a lap of honour at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Monday, when CSK played their last home match of the season. Reports suggest a rift between Dhoni and the team management and there are rumours that he will part ways with the Chennai franchise after 2026 season.
