Wyndham Clark puts pressure on Si Woo Kim chaotic Moving Day

Si Woo Kim's chase for 58 captured the attention of everyone at TPC Craig Ranch Friday.

When he went into the clubhouse with a five-shot lead after 36 holes, most probably thought they were witnessing a runaway train.

That proved to be short-sighted on Moving Day as Kim lost and then regained his lead from Wyndham Clark, who applied considerable pressure with a first-nine that included a stretch of three consecutive birdies and an eagle putt on the par-5 9th hole.

Clark took the outright lead from Kim with a birdie out of the bunker on No. 12, only for the two to draw even at 19 under moments later. From there it was an exchange of birdies and pars — that is until Clark's crucial bogey on No. 17 that sent him back to T-2.

Texas native and Clark's playing partner Scottie Scheffler birdied at the 13th hole to make it a three-way tie atop the leaderboard.

Clark and Scheffler wound up eventually carding 6-under 65s.

Clark's last top 10 finish came at the 2025 Open Championship (T-4).
