Change isn't always a bad thing, and for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, he might just be finding that out.

Having seen John Harbaugh move on this offseason, and Jesse Minter replace him as head coach, the changes have come thick and fast for the AFC North franchise. Plus, Jackson has a new OC in Declan Doyle, so this offseason is looking vastly different for the two-time MVP winner.

But Lamar hadn't really had much to do with Minter this offseason, which is why OTAs were the first time the star quarterback would get some proper work with his head coach.

And when asked about Minter as OTAs concluded, Lamar was left with one overriding thought.

"Man, cool dude. Always has a smile on his face, Jackson said. "I just told him on the field today, 'Every time I come in the building, you always smiling.' … That's great to have."

Jackson ready for bounce-back season

In truth, it won't be hard for Lamar to have a better season than last year, and with Doyle at the helm and the ever-smiling Minter, the feel-good vibes are flowing at OTAs.

Yes, I get it, it's only early in the season, and the roster isn't exactly doing anything strenuous yet, but first impressions are that this change was for the better.

Now, if the Ravens go on a losing streak early in the season, that'll be tested, but right now, you get the sense that everyone is happy with the changes made this offseason.

Time will tell if it translates into anything meaningful.
