Nebraska pitcher Jordy Frahm named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week
Nebraska softball pitcher Jordy Frahm was named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week on Monday. This is the third time this season that Frahm has won the award.
Frahm went 2-0 with a 0.64 ERA in 11.0 innings. Over the weekend, she struck out 17 batters while allowing only two walks, and limiting batters to .111 at the plate.
On the season, the senior is 15-4 with a 1.30 ERA in 129.2 innings pitched. She's also set a program record with nine saves this season.
Nebraska softball will wrap up the regular season this weekend on the road against the Penn State Nittany Lions. Game one is on Friday, May 1, and will start at 4 p.m. CT on the Big Ten Network.
