Northridge advances in tennis regional

NAPPANEE — Northridge and Penn will play for the NorthWood Girls Tennis Regional championship today after posting semifinal wins on Tuesday.

The Raiders beat Columbia City, 4-1, and the Kingsmen prevailed over Fairfield, 5-0.

Northridge got singles wins from Elaina Duthie and Jade Snyder.

Penn was led by singles winners Olivia Wu, Samantha Pischalko and Gabriella Roland.

The regional championship match will take place today at 5 p.m. at NorthWood High School.
