Texas vs Arizona State softball: TV channel, time, game info for Game 1 of super regional

Once again, the Texas Longhorns find themselves in a Sweet 16, of sorts.

The women's basketball team and men's basketball team each reached the Sweet 16 in its NCAA Tournament. The volleyball team did as well. One could say the football team was also considered among the final 16 teams in the running for the national title game (though, that's of little solace to fans of Steve Sarkisian's crew). Plenty of other Longhorns programs played into and past regional finals as well.

Texas Longhorns catcher Reese Atwood (14) talks to pitcher Teagan Kavan (17) during the NCAA Softball Championship Regional game against Wisconsin at Red & Charline McCombs Field on Saturday, May 16, 2026 in Austin. (Aaron E. Martinez/Austin American-Statesman)
