Antonio Brown just can't help himself.

Brown recently appeared in a TikTok live session and reignited his feud with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (among others) in an explosive rant.

Brown hasn't played in the NFL since famously quitting on the Bucs in the middle of a game at the New York Jets over four years ago. Still, the former star WR never passes up an opportunity to air his grievances on those who he feels wronged him during his NFL career.

The Bucs Remain Brown's Top Target

Though he only played a total of 15 across two seasons in Tampa, the Bucs remain Brown's top target when he goes on a rant. According to Brown, the Buccaneers pressured him to play through a severe ankle Injury in that fateful game at MetLife Stadium.

Of course, Brown's main complaint was not getting the ball, injured or not. Brown recalled speaking to Tom Brady before that Jets game and then added,

“I already know they were being fake to me the whole time I was there,” before adding, “I got suspended, and I came back, and they had some guys hurt, so they wanted to get everything out of me — they treated me like I'm a dog.”

Despite the ankle injury, Brown became livid throughout the game because Brady was not targeting him enough, leading to a sideline outburst before the receiver removed part of his uniform and trotted off the field, waving to the raucous crowd. 

And out of here, he was. Never to play another snap in the NFL.

Brown Remains One Of NFL's Biggest "What If?" Cases

There is no denying that Brown was one of the best WRs the league has ever seen. Unfortunately, his attitude, erratic behavior, and run-ins with the law robbed Brown (and fans) of the chance to truly be remembered in the same tier as Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson, and the other all-time greats. A Hall of Fame talent, Brown has likely ruined any chance at ever being enshrined in Canton. Brown remains one of the NFL's biggest "what if?" cases in history.

It is truly sad to see one of the best, and hardest working, wide receivers in NFL history destroy his career and legacy the way Brown has.

Everyone's Fault But Brown's

To hear him tell it, all of Brown's problems are everyone's fault but Brown's. Brown has constantly attacked Brady, who personally vouched for him to both the New England Patriots and the Buccaneers, and also opened his home to him. Of course, everything Brady did for him was insincere, only because he "needed" Brown.

"To me, a friend is someone who's got your back," Brown once said. "Not everybody in sports is going to be your friend. Tom Brady's my friend why? Because I'm a good football player. He needs me to play football. People have different meanings of what friendship is."

Brady also convinced then-Bucs HC Bruce Arians to give Brown a chance, a move Arians was strongly against. The former Steelers OC was very familiar with Brown's antics from their shared time in Pittsburgh.

Yet, Arians obliged, and Brown became a Buc. Arians has also found himself in the middle of Brown's rants before. The WR accused his former OC and HC of participating in a "cover-up," over Brown's ankle injury, while also accusing Arians of telling him "you're done," after Brown told him he was too injured to play.

Final Thoughts

Brown's career will forever be akin to a Shakespearean tragedy. Especially considering his final chapter in Tampa. Brown's time as a Buc should have been his ultimate redemption. Brown won a Super Bowl in Tampa, something he was unable to do as a superstar in Pittsburgh. He could have walked away from the NFL as one of the best to ever play, and to a standing ovation.

Instead, he walked away as a tragic tale, and to fans pointing and laughing at his exit.
