Johannes Høsflot Klæbo and Domen Prevc were unstoppable again at the end of the first post-Olympic weekend in Nordic skiing on Sunday.

Klæbo led a Norwegian podium sweep in a 20 kilometres cross country skiathlon race in Falun, Sweden the day after his sprint win.

Slovenia's Prevc was in a league of his own as on Saturday on the Austrian ski flying hill of Bad Mitterndorf where he bettered the hill record set by his brother, Peter Prevc, to 245.5 metres.

Klæbo remained invincible a week after becoming the first Winter Olympian to win six golds at one Games for a record career tally of 11 golds by sweeping all six races.

He decided the skiathlon in trademark fashion with a short sprint on the final uphill to break a small leader group for victory ahead of team-mates Harald Østberg Amundsen and Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget.

Klæbo claimed a 109th career World Cup win and closed in on a record equalling sixth overall World Cup title going into the final seven races.

Twice Milan/Cortina gold medallist Prevc is close to a first World Cup title after soaring to a 13th season victory and 24th overall.

He got a convincing first round lead with 238m although he started two gates lower than his nearest rival Stephan Embacher, who had 240m.

Austria's Embacher added 225m but Prevc was on fire and starting from the same gate soared 20.5m further for the hill record and won a huge winning margin of 24.8 points. Norway's Johann Andre Forgang was third.

The women's skiathlon in Falun and women's normal hill ski jumping in Hinzenbach, Austria are scheduled for later Sunday.
