Mitch Praises Steph Castle's Versatile Performance in the Finals

In a recent discussion, Mitch reflected on the impressive capabilities of Steph Castle, highlighting his adaptability on the court. “He’s found his rhythm because we’ve asked him to do every single thing that a player can be asked since he’s been drafted,” Mitch stated, emphasizing the extensive roles Castle has taken on since his entry into the league.

Mitch noted that Castle has experienced a variety of positions, mentioning, “He started, he’s been brought off the bench. He’s played on the ball, he’s played off the ball, he’s guarded primary ball creators, he’s guarded bigger wings, and even some quote unquote bigger players or big guys.” This versatility has made Castle an invaluable asset to the team.

“He’s fearless, he’s relentless,” Mitch added, pointing out that Castle's intelligence on the court often goes unrecognized. “He probably doesn’t get enough credit for his processing, and that’s what allows him to do so much for us.” His ability to contribute significantly is evident as he finds himself at the center of numerous plays.

While Victor often garners attention for his performance, Mitch insists that Castle is equally influential. “He’s in the middle of almost every single play, like Victor,” he remarked. At just 21 years old and in his second year, Castle's achievements during the Finals are noteworthy. “I don’t know, that’s rare air, it’s just really, really elite company, and what he’s doing, I think it gets overshadowed,” Mitch concluded, acknowledging the high expectations placed upon the young player.
