Rising Star Blaze Ingram Chooses Gaither High School for Freshman Year

One of the most prominent young talents in youth football, Rudolph ‘Blaze’ Ingram, has officially announced his high school choice. On Monday evening, the Class of 2030 athlete took to Instagram to share that he will be joining the Gaither Cowboys in Tampa, Florida, for his freshman season.

Ingram's new team, coached by Kirk Karsen, has been active in the transfer market, recently gaining quarterback Daniel Terry from Wesley Chapel's Wiregrass Ranch. Terry had an impressive sophomore year, racking up 2,578 passing yards and 23 touchdowns.

Currently, Ingram boasts ten college scholarship offers, with the latest coming from the University of Texas at El Paso. Other schools expressing interest include Alabama State, Central State, Colorado State, Delaware State, Florida A&M, FIU, Sacramento State, SMU, and Warner University. Known as ‘Blaze’ to his fans, he has garnered a significant following on social media, with over 774,000 followers on Instagram alone.

Gaither High School has a strong reputation in the area, finishing last season with a 10-2 record and ranking No. 28 in the state according to the Florida 2025 High School Football Massey Rankings. Established in 1984, Gaither is celebrated for its academic programs and competitive athletics, fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and achievement among its students.
