The performances in the poll are from May 18-23. The poll will run from 4 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Below are some of the top performances from this past week:
Athlete of the Week candidates
Kenzie Nawrocki, Norwayne softball
Nawrocki hit a three-run homerun in the bottom of the sixth inning to help lead Norwayne to a 6-3 victory over Poland Seminary in the Division V district final on Thursday at Dalton High School.
Arabella Wenger, Dalton softball
In the bottom of the ninth inning of Wednesday's Division VI district final versus LaBrae, Wenger had a walk-off RBI single to lift Dalton to a 3-2 victory.
Wylie Fuqua, Wooster boys track and field
Fuqua won both the shot put (50' 1") and discus (156' 10") at the Division II district meet at Tallmadge High School last week.
Katherine Kaster, West Holmes girls track and field
Kaster qualified for next week's regional meet by placing second in the 1600 meters (5:16.95) and third in the 3200 meters (11:40.08) at the Division III district meet at St. Clairsville High School.
Brodric Flinner, Triway boys track and field
At the Division IV district meet at Norwayne High School, Flinner won both the 100 meters (11.11) and 200 meters (22.39).
